The soft white sofas invite the guests to recline on them with all possible comfort. Small cushions are available for additional comfort: they are very handy to prop against, while sitting. You won’t be bored as you wait for our order (and we can assure you that the waiting time won’t be long). The interior includes plasma TV-sets and "business city-scape" prints on the walls. This place is a Wi-Fi zone. No effort is wasted to give the guests the impression that Velgar is continuously keeping pace with the progress. This impression is combined with complete absence of any rush or annoying fussiness. You and your relaxation – and enjoyment - are in the focus.

Our meals are delicious – and that is not an overstatement. The Velgar cooks are working under hands-on guidance of a skilled chef specially invited from Russia for the purpose. He has a record of working at popular restaurants with Italian, European and French cuisine prior to Velgar. The chef offers the restaurant guests the possibility to enjoy fusion cuisine. In other words, you will be able to diversify your meals with dramatically different but similarly original dishes ranging from the European cuisine classics – Caesar salad fusion style, Greek salad farmer style, light soup of veal, fish soup of 3 varieties of fish, foie-gras served on a flaming pineapple with ice cream and white-wine based lime-and-grape sauce with fresh fruits to Italian pastas, such as Pasta Primavera with scallops and tiger shrimps. We recommend in particular our pepper steak with cream-and-pepper sauce or veal served with vegetables and polenta (mamaliga). All food is cooked according to particular technologies preserving the valuable vitamins and trace elements contained in raw products. Furthermore, our cooks do not use mayonnaise replacing it with much healthier olive oil. The Velgar staff hates preservatives, convenience foods or any other ‘artificial food’. To put it short, be assured that Velgar offers extremely healthy food.

We offer attractive terms and conditions for hosting of banquets, stand-up parties, corporate events. There is a possibility to host a small party or a grand reception. You will be offered a cozy private room for a small party of up to 12 guests where you can enjoy the company of a narrow circle of friends or family without any external disturbances. The restaurant’s big room can host a party of up to 40 with enough space for the guests to move around and socialize without being forced to sit at the table throughout the evening, tightly squeezed between other guests. Each event includes the development of a tailor-made menu. Next to your wishes taken into account by the chef the suggested menu will include the proven ‘banquet’ meals able to remain appetizing and attractive-looking throughout the event. And the originality and high quality of our meals is well known.

Velgar Restaurant opens its doors at 9 a.m. In practical terms it means that you can have your first cup of our steaming-hot aromatic coffee at 09:05 and choose any of the 7 fixed breakfast menu options on the offer. A healthy breakfast is always welcome. Velgar breakfasts are both healthy and extremely delicious providing sufficient energy for the whole day. Each fixed breakfast menu includes a main course, such as a puffy sweet-smelling omelette with cheese, ham and vegetables or brown cheese cakes with sour cream or rice porridge cooked with cream and raisins and making your mouth water. Our fixed breakfast menus include a variety of main courses to cater to any mood or preference. The main course goes with a toast, cheese, ham, butter, tea/coffee and fruit juice. This appetizing breakfast is offered for MDL 82.

It is no less pleasant to have your last meal of the day at Velgar Restaurant with a glass of wine and a classical Italian dessert, such as tiramisu or panna cotta. The choice would be not an easy one due to the abundance of appealing options.
