"Patria" is the main cinema of Moldova, a premiere cinema of the European class.



Premiere is a particular performance, the genuine fest for the cinema fancies and connoisseurs. A brilliant dramatized show, related to the subject of the premiere movie, is performed in the cinema's hall in winter or in front of it in summer. During several years of its new history "Patria" became the symbol of the local cinematography revival.



At the first anniversary of its reconstruction "Patria" honored the masters of Moldavian cinematography who made up its glory: Svetlana Toma, Emil Loteanu and Eugene Doga. Their names adorn the Movie Stars Alley.
