This mechanism was launched by the Moldavian authorities with the financial support of the World Bank within the Competitiveness Improvement Project. Thus, the local companies may submit the corresponding applications and receive the assistance in implementation of quality systems (ISO, HACCP); implementation and improvement of information management, bookkeeping, control and assessment systems; development of business-plan; realization of marketing researches, planning and promotion; planning of business strategies, including designing of new products and services, and planning of investment; development of project-technical documentation; support in implementation of plans on reorganization and restructuring; trainings for personnel, except the professional, university education and the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The mechanism of grant returns 50% of cost of consulting services and expenses on implementation of quality standards. The expenses will be returned at certification and submission of the report in the required format. The maximum amount of the return to one company won’t exceed 130000.00 leis. To participate in the mechanism of co-financing the companies must produce the goods or render the trade services on the territory of Moldova, and be registered and placed on the territory of Moldova. The company will pay 100% of all expenses, and upon the completion of the implementation process 50% of cost of consulting and certification services will be returned, according to the conditions of the approved grant. The partial return of means (50%) will be covered from the funds of the World Bank in the form of grant to 200 local companies.
