"Aici Moldcell" project, launched in the educational institutions

Having successfully implemented the project "Aici Moldcell" on the territory of the airport and commercial center MallDova, Moldcell Company offered a wonderful present to the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova at the beginning of the school year.

"Aici Moldcell" is aimed for creating special zones where clients of the operator, irregardless their tariff plan, can benefit from the possibility to communicate in the network with 50% discount.
This tariff will be applied to all in-network calls, including those already benefiting from other discounts. If the subscriber starts talking in Moldcell zone and moves out of the zone during the call, the discount is applied to the whole period of the call.

The subscribers, identified by the system inside the Moldcell zone, will get a notification about available facilities.

The technical realization of the project became possible thanks to the installation of special equipment of local service.

On September 7th, 2010, the management team of Moldcell headed by the General Manager, Mr. Chiril Gaburici, together with the rector of the Academy, Mr. Grigore Belostecinic, teaching staff and students opened the zone of recreation and communication "Aici Moldcell". It will cover the square of Academy campus, hall and cafeteria in Block B of the institution.

Moldcell General Manager, Chiril Gaburici: "Frequently visiting the universities of the country and launching many projects, including "Laboratory of mobile communication", "Moldcell Scholarship", "Your future starts today", I noticed there were no recreation zones in our universities where students and teachers could communicate whenever needed. It is necessary to mention that the Academy of Economic Studies is the first university of the country that benefits from the special tariff "Aici Moldcell" and that the project will continue in other important institutions of higher education from Moldova."

Rector of the Academy of Economic Studies, Grigore Belostecinic: "We highly appreciate relations of collaboration and friendship built during many years with Moldcell and I proudly announce today the opening of the recreation and communication zone "Aici Moldcell", a great support for the students of our university".

Note: The activities promoted by Moldcell Company to advance socially responsible business and to support young generation, considering it the best investment in the successful future of Moldova, include projects like: "Your future starts today" and "Moldcell Scholarship". The first one provides workshops given by Moldcell specialists to students; "Moldcell Scholarship" does not offer only monthly financial assistance to the students,, but also trainings in the company, the possibility to obtain knowledge and skills under the guidance of operator’s professionals, etc. In particular, during the 2nd edition of the program some 500 students of the Academy of Economic Studies participated in workshops offered by the managers of the company. Also, during the years, 26 students of the Academy won scholarships within Moldcell Scholarship program.
