As InfoMarket agency was informed in the National Bureau of Statistics, particularly, in January-July 2010 the volume of Moldova’s exports amounted to $739,6 million, exceeding by 6,9% the indices of the same period of 2009. At the same time, the volume of exports to the CIS countries in January-July 2010 increased as compared to the same period of 2009 by 13,9% - up to $280,3 million, while the deliveries of the Moldavian goods to the EU countries reduced by 3,1% - up to $364,7 million. The share of the CIS countries in the total volume of Moldova’s exports in this period increased from 35,6% up to 37,9%, and the share of the EU countries – reduced from 54,4% up to 49,3%. The volume of imports to Moldova in January-July 2010 amounted to $1 billion 990,1 million, increasing by 12,9%, as compared to the same period of 2009.
A the same time, the imports from the CIS countries reduced by 2,2% - up to $628,1 million, and from the EU countries – increased by 17,6% - up to $892,8 million. The share of the CIS countries in the total volume of Moldova’s imports reduced in this period from 36,4% up to 31,5%, and of the EU countries - increased from 43,1% up to 44,9%. The deficit of trade balance of Moldova with the EU countries in January-July 2010 increased by 38,1% - up to $528,1 million, and with the CIS countries – reduced by 12,1% - up to $347,8 million. The largest deficit of trade balance in January-July 2010 Moldova had with the Ukraine - $219,2 million, followed by: China - $155,2 million, Russia - $128,4 million, Germany - $116,2 million, Romania - $75,7 million, Italy - $64,7 million, Turkey - $57,5 million, Greece - $41,1 million, Brazil - $40,7 million, Poland - $31,6 million. The data of the National Bureau of Statistics don’t include the trade and economic operations of enterprises from the Transnistrian region.
