Prime Minister Vlad Filat said Wednesday, after the meeting of the Cabinet, that he did not mean all the media organizations when he put a part of the blame for the failed referendum on the mass media. He made related statement during a program on Moldova-1, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Premier stated he referred to the channels that subjectively covered the referendum campaign and disseminated wrong information, misinforming the voters. He named among them the TV channel NIT.
”The public must be informed correctly and we need certain regulations in this respect,” Vlad Filat said, specifying he does not mean limiting the right to free expression.
