Two new busts to be put up in Chisinau
The bronze busts of Nicolae Iorga and Alexandru Ioan Cuza will appear in Chisinau in the near future. They represent a donation from the chairman of the Prahova County Council Mircea Cosma, who is in Chisinau on a visit, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In the May 14 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca said that the busts will be set up by August 31 and September 1. Nicolae Iorga’s bust will be placed at the high school bearing his name, while the second bust on Cuza Voda St in Botanica district. The exact place will be decided by the competent municipal division.
Attending the meeting, Mircea Cosma spoke about the projects implemented or under implementation in Prahova County. According to him, a part of these projects may be also carried out in Chisinau, including projects to use renewable sources of energy, to supply water and treat wastewater, and to recycle waste.
