The minibus drivers who will not give tickets to the passengers face fines of 10,000 to 50,000 lei. According to Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta, the tickets confirm that the person benefited from the given service, Info-Prim Neo reports.

”Initially, we must give time to the drivers so that they decide how they are going to distribute the tickets, given that they should concentrate exclusively on traffic. Maybe they should employ a person who will do this or they can give the tickets when the person gets into the vehicle. No matter how, but this thing should be done,” said Veaceslav Negruta.

Fines will be imposed immediately after the technical problems related to the distribution of tickets are solved. “They will apply to everyone, irrespective of whether the driver is the owner of the minibus or the rents it from the owner. Any exception leads to trouble and unwanted interpretations in society or even to tragedies,” said the minister.
