President Nicolae Timofti congratulated Barack Obama on U.S. Independence Day
President of Moldova Nicolae Timofti has sent his greetings to American President Barack Obama on the occasion of the U.S. Independence Day. Timofti said that Moldova highly appreciates permanent assistance the U.S. has been providing for about 20 years to build a rule-of-law government in Moldova, for promoting economic and social reforms, integration in the EU family, as well as restoration of territorial integrity. According to the Moldovan leader, Moldova pays peculiar attention to the development of cooperation and friendship ties with the U.S. The President said he is sire that the Moldo-American relations will keep on strengthening and expanding for the benefit of both countries and peoples.
