The parliament today passed the national development strategy "Moldova 2020" in final reading, with the votes of 56 lawmakers.
The strategy focuses on seven priorities: education, good roads, accessible loans, business with clear-cut rules, efficient energy, fair pensions system and incorruptible justice, and aims at attaining a 12-per-cent economic growth by 2020.
The lawmakers of the largest opposition Party of Communists, as well as the MPs of the parliamentary faction of the Party of Socialists did not back the strategy.
The parliament passed the national development strategy "Moldova 2020" in the first reading on 18 May 2012.
