Admission in universities starts today, July 16, and applications can be submitted until the end of the month. According to the Ministry of Education, this year’s offer includes 20,000 places for undergraduate studies, 7000 of which will be tuition-free, Info-Prim Neo reports.
It is for the first time that tuition-free places are offered for the specializations Information Security and Railway Transport Engineering. Besides, tuition-free places will be allotted for two ecological specializations: Plant Protection and Ecologic Security. Also, a new specialization will be on offer: Welding Engineering.
There are 30 higher education institutions in Moldova, 17 public and 13 private. Those who wish to apply may read the admission methodology on the website edu.md. The results of admission will be announced at the beginning of August. Afterwards, the second admission round will be organized for unoccupied seats.
