Transnistria holds military exercises to defend state border
The ministry of defense of the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan Republic held command-staff exercises of the region’s armed forces.
First deputy minister of defense Igor Dovgulici stated on the regional television that the exercises were aimed at a better coordination of actions between headquarters, training of all-level commanders, improving skills to command military subdivisions in combat etc.
According to the exercise legend, the enemy undertook an attempt to penetrate the Transnistrian territory. Upon receipt of penetration coordinates, the chief of command station sets a combat task – to open fire, which marks “the beginning of the military exercises on defending Transnistria’s state border”.
The exercises lasted 4 days.
