Prime Minister Vlad Filat today introduced new Interior Minister Dorin Recean to the institution's collective, according to the government's communication and press relations department. Attending the event was also ex-Interior Minister Alexei Roibu. In his speech, Filat thanked the former interior minister for his work, and noted that the period of his activity was difficult as being marked by many challenges. Filat said that today, the ministry will be headed by Dorin Recean. He said that this is the third time he introduces a new interior minister during 2 years and 10 months since his office of premier. "The coming period will be difficult. The reforms related to the legislation sector have been completed, the most difficult part - implementation is following now", Filat said. He asked the new minister to assess the activity of the subordinated organizations and its heads. "The decisions will be as a result of the assessments and outcomes recorded by each head. You had every support on my own behalf, and already the time is ripe for results to have. I assure you that no hesitations will be in taking decisions", Filat noted. Filat asked the assessment be carried out in the nearest future, and the results be presented him personally.
