New political party will emerge in Moldova in September
A new political party, that will probably be called „Obnovlenie”, is expected to be created by Vadim Misin on September 10 or 12 when its first Congress is expected by be held.
In an interview for TRIBUNA, the Member of Parliament Oleg Babenco, one of the leaders of the initiative group on the creation of the new party, said that they are creating now territorial organizations of the party country – wide.
„We are collecting signatures in 20 rayons of the country and Chisinau and Balti municipalities. According to the legislation we need at least 5400 signatures of voting citizens who want to become members of the party, and we have already collected 80% of the required votes. We plan to collect all signatures by August 10 and hold a press conference on August 10 or 13 in which will make the relevant announcements”, he said.
According to him the first Congress of the new party will be held in Chisinau.
