Hot water supply to be resumed in Chisinau by Thursday
In several days Termocom will resume hot water supply to Chisinau’s residents, the heat and hot water utility's director Mihai Cernei told the City Hall's ordinary meeting on Monday, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Cernei said that the inspection and repair works on the hot water piping and the cogeneration plant CET-2's equipment are almost done and the system is now 95 percent filled with water. It is planned that CET-2 will connect to the system on August 8 and resume supply within 24 hours, meaning that the hot water is expected to reach taps on Thursday, August 9.
Hot water supply in Chisinau's centralized system was disrupted on July 9 for the traditional annual overhaul.
