The Prosecutor General's Office (PG) has opened two criminal cases on the violation of the law on organization and holding the meetings, as well as on the violation of the public order within the 5 August events occurred in the Balti municipality, according to the institution's press release. According to the PG press service, the first file was initiated on hooliganism as referring to a man, aged 42, from Balti. The second one is related to a young man, 26, who violated the right to the freedom of meetings, as well as dangerous violence for the people's life and health care resulted in the damages inflicted at a high level. Both suspects have been apprehended by the law enforcers for committing the infringements. The PG also said that a notification on violation by some people within the Social Democratic Party and the Party of Communists of the right to meeting of the organization "Actiunea-2012" (Action-2012) was submitted at the Police Commissariat in Balti. Presently, the Balti-based prosecutor's office is considering complaints by 12 police employees attacked by protesters while keeping the public order. During the 5 August events, occurred from 10:00 to 16:00, the Balti Police Commissariat held six persons, two of them for violations, three - for hooliganism and one teenager being drunk. Now, the prosecutors take all the measures needed to set and sue at law the organizers of the events who failed to ensure the observance of the public order, as well as the people who committed and instigated to the violence and participated in the mess in Balti.
