According to NBS, export of Moldovan goods to EU countries amounted to a sum o f $508.0 mln., made up 48.8% of the total Moldovan export and grew 2.9% as compared with the same period of 2011. At the same time, Moldova imported 0.9% less goods from EU at a sum of $1 bln. 065.4 mln., which was 43.3% of the total Moldovan import and 0.9% as compared with the same period of the past year. In January-June, 2012, the greatest amount of goods exported to EU fell to Romania and amounted to $169.6 mln, 1.7% down as compared with the same period of 2011. Then follow: Italy - $120.2 mln. (+22.2%); the Great Britain- $40.5 mln. (-9.4%); Poland - $38.9 mln. (+6.9%); Germany - $33.4 mln. (-34.3%); Bulgaria - $16.1 mln. (+11.2%); France- $15.8 mln. (+40.1%); Hungary - $13.2 mln. (+46.0%) and the Netherlands - $10,3 mln. (+60,9%). The greatest amount of goods imported from EU fell to Romania too and accounted for $266.9 mln. (+0,8%). Then follow: Germany - $188.9 mln. (+5.5%); Italy - $159.1 mln. (-5.6%); Poland - $65.4 mln. (+19.6%); Austira - $50.5 mln. (+16.3%); France- $47.5 mln. (+3.7%); Hungary - $44.3 mln. (-4.8%); the Great Britain - $31.8 mln. (+4.0%), Bulgaria - $31.7 mln. (+11.1%),Czech Republic - $30.2 mln. (+24.9%); the Netherlands - $24.3 mln. (+3.2%); Greece - $23.0 mln. (-42%); Spain - $21.1 mln. (+13.32%) and others.
