Owners of plane tickets for August 22 advised to arrive for check-in earlier
Passengers, who have flights from the Chisinau International Airport on August 22, are recommended to depart for the airport earlier, so that they arrive in time for their flights.
Adriana Doruc, PR manager at the Chisinau International Airport, told Info-Prim Neo that there will be no changes in the flight schedule, despite the visit of the German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Chisinau. However, she doesn’t rule out possible changes because of the officials’ program. The security regime will remain the same. There will be no changes to what passengers can transport in their luggage and carry-ons.
Angela Merkel will arrive in Chisinau with a delegation of 50 people. The Chancellor will meet with the country’s leaders and deliver a speech to the Moldovan people. About 2000 policemen will secure public order on that day.
