Announced the head of Rospotrebnadzor - Gennady Onishchenko. He noted that the statement of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova – Valeriu Cosarciuc on the absence of dangerous substances in Moldavian wine, made at press conference in Chisinau, gave rise to the suspension of consultations. According to Gennady Onishchenko, the statement of Cosarciuc rouses nothing but bewilderment and the incomprehension of this demarche compelled the agency to make a pause in the consultations for an indefinite period. The head of Rospotrebnadzor said that Moldavian experts got serious pretensions to the quality of wine, delivered on Russian market, at consultations in Moscow.
In the course of consultations became clear the fact that Moldova dramatically relaxed the control of wine products quality at national level, in contrast to what was at the beginning of the process. It is the explanation of current situation. According to Onishchenko, the problem can be solved if working at professional level. Recently, Rospotrebnadzor laid serious claims to the quality of Moldavian wines. On Monday in Moscow have started Russian-Moldavian consultations at professional level on deliveries of wine products. Russia insisted that the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova – Valeriu Cosarciuc was excluded from the list of experts participating in Russian-Moldavian consultations in order to discuss the problem not at administrative-political level but at expert level. Earlier Gennady Onishchenko said that in 18 wine batches, detained in the near Moscow city Solntsevo, were found dangerous substances and the wine will be returned to Moldova. In his turn, Valeriu Cosarciuc said that Moldavian wine delivered to Russia is harmless for consumers.
