According to the CCECC, it was ascertained that more than 50 economic agents got the CEMT (European Conference of Ministers of Transport) authorization from the National Automobile Transport Agency in such a way. On the basis of these authorizations was permitted the dispatch of more than 100 trucks abroad and other carriers forfeited to get the certificates on legal grounds.
The results of investigations, pursued by the Centre and profile agencies, shows that the inspected vehicles corresponded to Euro 3 pollution class, and not to Euro 4 as required by international standards. According to operational data, the economic agents paid from €1000 to €2000 along with public payment in order to get one CEMT permission. Thus were opened criminal cases and CEMT permissions were recalled and distributed among the economic agents with trucks of Euro 4 and Euro 5 pollution classes.
The violation of standards and revealing on the European space of inadequate vehicle causes a great damage to Moldavian image. Moldova is a member of the European Conference of Ministers of Transport – an international organization within which every year is distributed the quota of multilateral CEMT authorizations, entrusting to carry on the international cargo transportations on EU and CEMT member countries territory.
