Monetary reserves of NBM as of August 20, 2010 amounted to $1 billion 559,98 million, reducing by $0,43 million (0,02%) as compared to the previous week.

This was informed to InfoMarket agency in the National Bank of Moldova. They also noted that as of August 13, 2010 the monetary reserves of NBM were $1 billion 560,41 million, as of August 6 - $1 billion 581,01 million, as of July 30 - $1 billion 507,52 million. The monetary reserves of NBM in July 2010 increased by $85,73 million or by 6%. As at the end of 2009 the monetary reserves of NBM were $1 billion 480,25 million, reducing by $192,16 million (11,5%) over a year.
