The export of Moldovan wines is increasing constantly and we have good prospects for its further expansion, - Vasile Bumacov
This was stated by Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Bumacov at a Moldovan TV channel. EU allots Moldova quotas on duty-free supplies of wine and they grow every year, he said. Poland and Czech Republic are major importers of wines from Moldova among EU states. Moldovan wines do not present any risks for domestic producers in large and oversaturated market of EU. At the same time, EU consumers have a good opportunity to discover Modlovan wines, Vasile Bumacov said. According to him, the great problem is that consumption of bottled wines in Moldova is extremely law, and 95% of the production is exported. All major wine producing countries and all civilized states made every effort to avoid consumption of strong beverages and beer and start drinking wines of high quality, the Minister stressed.
