Conservative Party registered as referendum campaign participant

The Central Election Commission (CEC) on July 23 registered the Conservative Party as a participant in the campaign for the September 5 constitutional referendum, Info-Prim Neo reports.

The Conservative Party did not yet say whether it will campaign in favor or against the referendum, announcing it will do it during debates and other electoral activities.

Iurie Bordeniuc was designated as the party’s representative to the CEC.

Thirteen parties have so far been registered as electoral participants and stated to campaign. The deadline for applications is August 5.
