The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) accredited on 1 September the last national and international observers for the 5 September constitutional referendum, according to a CEC press release.
Thus, 3 persons have been accredited as international experts and 2 persons as interpreters from the Swedish embassy in Moldova, 12 persons as national observers from the Alliance of Access to Information and Training Community Centers of Moldova (ACCAII), 4 persons as international observers from the observation mission of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), 7 persons as national observers from the European Action Movement party, in polling station from abroad; 16 persons as national observers from the Confederation of Moldovan non-governmental organizations, 21 persons as international observers and 14 interpreters from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, 4 persons as international electoral experts on behalf of the Georgian Central Electoral Commission, 3 persons as national observers from the public youth organization "Mostenitorii" (Successors) in the polling stations from abroad; 352 persons as national observers on behalf of the Promo-Lex association, 1 person as international observer on behalf the embassy of the Czech Republic in Moldova, 17 persons as international observers from the Danish public organization "Silba-Support Initiative for Liberty and Democracy".
The Central Electoral Commission decided on 1 September to carry out a pilot project to test the state automatic information system Alegeri in the district electoral circumscription No. 1, during the 5 September constitutional referendum. Also, the CEC approved the organization of exit-polls, by the CBS-AXA Centre of Sociological Investigations and Marketing.
