The government's reshuffles are still needed in Moldova and the first dismissed ministers might be the ones from the senior coalition partner Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM). Prime Minister and PLDM leader Vlad Filat made this statement at a TV show.

Filat said that the reshuffles have been recently discussed at the PLDM's permanent bureau. "In the nearest future, we will start receiving the activity reports from our colleagues in the government. We will proceed from our own example, by replacing some ministers," Filat said.

The prime minister said that the dismissal of the prosecutor general is also necessary. "We are obliged to reform this institution, so that it becomes functional. As concerns the justice reform, it will have an impact on the Prosecutor's General Office, as well," Filat said.

He added that he had not heard that the junior coalition partner Liberal Party demanded the control over the Prosecutor's General Office. "I have not heard such discussions within the ruling Alliance for European Integration. In late 2011, we have signed an annex to the agreement on the AIE's creation, which envisages the de-politicization of law enforcement institutions," Filat said.
