Moldovan foreign minister meets Russia's new envoy to Moldova
Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Iurie Leanca met new Russian Ambassador to Moldova Farid Mukhametshin, on 2 May, the information and media communication service of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) has reported. At the meeting, the sides broached the Moldovan-Russian cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian fields, as well as the Transnistrian issue. The two officials highlighted the need to preserve a positive dynamics of the bilateral ties at different levels and advocated the continuation and development of cooperation in fields of common interest.
