Indian ambassador accredited to Moldova
President Nicolae Timofti today received the accreditation letters of Bucharest-based Indian Ambassador to Moldova, Mrs. Manimekalai Murugesan, according to the presidential press service. President Timofti congratulated Mrs. Murugesan on her appointment as ambassador to Moldova. He welcomed the development of the Moldovan-Indian bilateral cooperation at the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the two countries. Mrs. Manimekalai Murugesan thanked President Timofti for the support provided by Moldova in a recent election of an Indian representative as member of the International Court of Justice. Also, Mrs. Manimekalai Murugesan stressed her country's willingness to foster the trade exchanges with Moldova. Presently, ten Moldovan-Indian joint ventures are working in Moldova.
