Moldova and Czech agree upon social protection of compatriots

Moldovan Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga and Jaromir Kvapil, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Moldova, have signed an administrative agreement on applying the Agreement the two states have signed in the social insurance field.    

The document envisages providing compatriots with old-age pensions, disability pensions, pensions and disability allowances to the victims of commercial traumas or professional diseases, survivors’ pensions.

The Agreement stipulates mechanisms of repaying social allowances, relevant state institutions to apply to, documents that have to be filled in for receiving such benefits. It is called to facilitate dialog between profiled institutions and mediator bodies.    

Persons interested to receive such benefits should apply to the National Social Insurance House in Moldova and to the social insurance agency in the Czech Republic.
