Prime Minister Vlad Filat today sent a congratulatory message to his Russian counterpart, Dmitriy Medvedev, on the occasion of a national holiday of the Russian Fedeation - Russia's Day, the government's communication and press relations department has reported. The message said: "The Republic of Moldova highly appreciates the good relations established between our states and your personal contribution to their continuous consolidation. I am sure that the relations of friendship and good understanding between our countries stand for a safe foundation for the development of fruitful and mutually advantageous cooperation between Moldova and Russia."
