Viitorul Orhei change name

Only several days before the beginning of the new national football championship, the team Viitorul Orhei changed its name. In the 2010-2011 season, the club will be called FC Milsami Orhei, Info-Prim Neo reports.

The decision was taken at the general assembly of the founders of the Football Club Viitorul and approved Thursday by the Licensing Committee of the Moldovan Football Federation.

In the last National Division, Viitorul ranked eighth. This summer, coach Igor Oprea left the team to head the Academy Chisinau.

The squad now have a new management that includes a group of foreign businessmen. Vladimir Gosperschi is the new coach.

In the first stage of the competition on July 25, Milsami will play Rapid Ghidighici.
