Yesterday evening was a black evening for the Moldovan teams competing in the European cups. Dacia Chisinau, Olimpia Balti and Iskra-Stal Rybnitsa lost the return matches of the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round and were knocked out of the competition, Info-Prim Neo reports.

Dacia was beaten by Sweden’s Kalmar 0-2. The “yellow wolves” performed well and had many occasions for scoring, but were less successful. Eric Israelsson and Daniel Sobralense scored for Kalmar.

In another Moldovan-Swedish duel, Iskra-Stal lost to Elfsborg 0-1. The goal for the guests was scored by Stefan Ishizaki in the second half.

Olimpia Balti was demolished by Dinamo Bucharest 5-1. The goal for Olimpia was scored by Julius Adaramola, while those for Dinamo by Andrei Cristea, two times, Ousmane N'Doye, Catalin Munteanu, and Gabi Torje.

Moldova has one more representative in the European cups - Sheriff Tiraspol. Moldova’s champion will play Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League third qualifying round.
