Meteorologists have declared the orange code related to heat and fire hazard in Moldova this week.
According to the National Meteorological Service, air shade temperature of 33 degrees and up above zero is expected till July 6.
Fire hazard grows due to high temperatures. Negligent fire handling may lead to ignition of forests and fields with crops, especially taking into account the harvesting launched.
The Civil Protection and the Emergency Situations Service called upon responsible persons and leaders of farms to observe necessary safety regulations, namely to isolate fields from roads, forests, bridges and railroad with plowed belts of at least 4 meters.
