Motoross Championship - Czech Round
On August 5th took place a new race within the World Motocross Championship, this time in Loket, Czech Republic. According to information from the organizers, at the event were present 23,000 spectators.
For Mihai Cociu’s teammate Antonio Cairoli, the Czech race marked his 50th Grand Prix win. Even though he won both races, Cairoli admitted that it wasn’t very easy to compete on Loket hard pack ground.
Mihai Cociu, the only Moldavian racers within the MX1 Championship, managed to obtain the following results:
Race I – 26th place
Race II – 23rd place
Grand Prix – 26th place
Mihai is continuously sponsored by BEMOL within the championship. The next race which Mihai will attend will take place on August 19th, in Winchester, England.
