The name of excursion: The natural reserve "Padurea Domneasca"

The short description of the excursion:

• Coral girdle with coral reefs, witnesses of Sarmatic sea, identical with the Grand Coral girdle from Austria- a true establishment of dates from Earth’s history;
• Duruitoarea-Varatic defile with its magnificent waterfalls;
• Butesti Canion-that tells us about the prehistoric settlements of ancestries ;
• "Stinca Mare" reef-natural fortress that interposes resistance against our times;
• "La fontal" river- a true secular diamond with a surface more than 120 ha, where the trees have a record height of 30-35 m.
• "Tara Batlanilor"- a unique colony with more than 1000 species of birds
• Tall oaks ( more than 300 years)

According to the agreement between Republic of Moldova and Poland Republic in 2005 was decided to acclimate again the wisents in Republic of Moldova. On 19 August 2005 in "Padurea Domneasca" reserve were brought 3 wisents( 1 male ad 2 females) from 2 reserves from Poland.
